From October 25 to 27, 2024, we exhibited at the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome during the international Maker Faire Rome event, where we presented our “Pollution Washing Machine” prototype.
What is the Pollution Washing Machine?
“Pollution Washing Machine,” abbreviated as PWM, is a project designed to reduce air pollution inside a building by acting on its exterior. A system of misting nozzles installed around the perimeter of the building is activated under specific conditions, primarily when particulate matter reaches a predefined threshold.
The project also includes a rainwater collection system. The collected water is stored in a dedicated tank and used when needed.
